address the Legislature must submit a written slip to the Clerk’s office staff. The Rules of the Legislature limit
public comment to three minutes per person. At meetings of the full Legislature, members of the public may speak
during the pre-calendar public comment period and during public hearings that are on the calendar. At meetings
of the Legislature’s committees and prior to the call of the first committee of the day, members of the public may
speak and on agenda items only. Individuals may scan the below QR code or email the Clerk of the Legislature at

be heard only during the pre-calendar public comment period and during public hearings that are on the
calendar. At meetings of the Legislature’s committees, there is no pre-calendar public comment period.

The Nassau County Fire Marshal’s Office orders a maximum occupancy of 251 people for the Peter J.
Schmitt Memorial Legislative Chamber and an additional 71 people for the legislative antechamber.
Attendees who will address the Legislature must submit a written slip to the Clerk’s office staff. The
Rules of the Legislature limit public comment to three minutes per person. At meetings of the full
Legislature, members of the public may speak during the pre-calendar public comment period and during
public hearings. At meetings of the Legislature’s committees and prior to the call of the first committee,
members of the public may speak on agenda items only. Individuals may scan the below QR code or

Contract Summary
Purpose: This contract is for RealAuction.com LLC to host and administer a competitive auction to collect delinquent real estate
taxes through the sale of tax liens.
Procurement History: The Nassau County Treasurer's Office issued an RFP to solicit bids for an on-line tax lien auctioneer. The
RFP was published in the NY Post and on the County's procurement website. One bid was received. The selection committee
awarded the contract to RealAuction.com LLC.
Description of General Provisions: RealAuction.com LLC shall host and administer an internet based customized software
application for online auctions of lien certificates. The website is capable of tax buyer registrations, payments, creation of a
marketplace for bidders, payment settlements, interface with Nassau County's ADAPT tax system and award bids.
Impact on Funding / Price Analysis: This is a revenue generating contract. The value of this agreement is dependent upon the
number of liens sold. The cost of a lien certificate is $20.00. The contractor will receive $15.00 per lien sold. Nassau County
keeps the other $5.00.

Change in Contract from Prior Procurement: Term of this contract is for a maximum of 5 years. Payment terms for this
contract is $15.00 per lien sold. Previous contract was $10.00 of the auction fee per lien sold.

WHEREAS, the County has negotiated a personal services agreement
with Realauction.com LLC, to provide auction services for tax collection, a
copy of which is on file with the Clerk of the Legislature; now, therefore, be
