They originate with OpenStreetMap volunteers, as curated by the independent DeFlock mapping project, and are enriched with information from our own database, such as camera operators, dates, and addresses derived from reverse geocoding. We support and credit the DeFlock project, but we are independent of it, and we are not affiliated with Flock Safety or any government agency.
All locations are approximate. They may be outdated, incomplete, or wrong. Cameras are installed, moved, and removed all the time, and volunteer reports lag reality. This is not surveying data, and nothing on the map is a precise or verified measurement. Never rely on the camera database or map for emergencies, navigation, or legal decisions.
