Have I Been Flocked?

Search the Flock audit logs released under public-records law: who ran each search, whose cameras it reached, the stated reason, and whether your plate is in them.

Letters and numbers only. Nothing you type is stored or logged with your address.

Updated Oct 20, 2026 · Public records

6,896,993 logged Flock searches from 8 agencies’ audit logs are searchable here, covering May 2021 to August 2026. 33,025 of those records include the license plate that was searched (3,944 distinct plates); the rest were redacted by the releasing agency, so they count toward the totals but cannot be matched to a plate.

4,375 different organizations appear as the party running a search. 148,760 of the agencies’ own searches list no reason and no case number. Every record was obtained by a local chapter through a public-records request and is linked to the original file below.

“Whose cameras” is the agency whose Flock network the search touched. For Elk Grove and Denver the logs list outside agencies searching those cities’ cameras; for Champaign, Lynnwood, and the others the logs are the agency’s own searches.

Not in these logs? Request your own

Most agencies have never released their audit logs. Any resident can request the search history for their own plate: Flock’s system keeps a per-search audit trail, and it is a public record in most states. Use the records request template, name your plate and the date range, and ask for the “organization audit” and “network audit” exports. When it comes back, send it in and it will be added here with credit.

The independent project haveibeenflocked.com maintains its own audit-log search built from other requests. Check both.

How to read a result

  • Whose cameras: the agency whose Flock network the search ran against.
  • Searched by: the organization that ran it, which is often a different agency in another state.
  • Reason and case number: what the officer typed. Flock does not verify either. A missing case number is common and is one of the patterns auditors flag.
  • Networks and devices: how many shared networks and how many cameras the single query reached.
