DeFlock The USA (“we,” “us,” or “our”) runs the store at deflocktheusa.com. We sell anti-surveillance apparel, and we care about privacy — it’s the whole point. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
Who we are
DeFlock The USA is an independent, for-profit apparel brand. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with DeFlock (the nonprofit at deflock.me that maintains the camera data shown on our map).
What we collect
Information you give us
- Contact and order details — name, email address, shipping and billing address, and phone number if you provide it.
- Your order history and anything you write to us (support emails, product reviews).
Payment information
Card payments are processed by Stripe. Your full card number is entered directly with Stripe and is never stored on our servers. We receive only limited details such as the card brand, the last four digits, and whether the charge succeeded.
Information collected automatically
- Basic server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) used for security and to keep the site running.
- Functional cookies needed for your cart, checkout, and login to work, plus fraud-prevention cookies set by Stripe.
We do not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics, or tracking pixels.
The camera map
Our Camera Map page loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap, and if you use the location search, it sends your search text to OpenStreetMap’s Nominatim service to find the place. The underlying camera data is provided by DeFlock. We don’t store your searches. See the OpenStreetMap Foundation’s privacy policy for how those requests are handled.
How we use your information
- To process, fulfill, and deliver your orders.
- To send order confirmations, shipping updates, and to answer support requests.
- To prevent fraud and meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
- To send marketing emails only if you opt in — you can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share it with
We share the minimum necessary with service providers who help us run the store:
- Printify and its print partners — to produce and ship your order.
- Stripe — to process payments.
- Shipping carriers — to deliver your package.
- Our hosting provider — to operate the website.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information and to opt out of marketing. California residents (CCPA/CPRA) have the right to know, delete, and opt out of the “sale” of personal information — note that we don’t sell it. To exercise a right, email us and we’ll respond as required by law.
Data retention
We keep order records as long as needed to fulfill orders and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements, then delete or anonymize them.
Children
Our store is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS and payments are handled by PCI-compliant Stripe. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Changes
We’ll update this page when our practices change and revise the date above.
