NOTICE OF MEETING OF THE GOVERNING BODY
OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, TEXAS
Notice is hereby given that a Regular Session of the City Council Regular Session of the City of
Pleasanton, Texas will be held on June 11, 2026, at 5:30 pm at the 108 Second St., P.O. Box 209,
Pleasanton, TX 78064 . The following items will be discussed at this meeting:

11. The Regular Session of June 11, 2026 is hereby recessed to hold an Executive Session
pursuant to Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, Subchapter D, as it pertains to
personnel matters (§551.074) EXECUTIVE SESSION MATTERS MAY BE DISCUSSED
AND ACTED UPON, IF APPROPRIATE, IN OPEN SESSION

13. The Regular Session of June 11, 2026 is hereby reconvened.
14. Discussion and possible Action regarding employment agreement for Acting City Manager.

The City of Pleasanton City Council does hereby reserve the permitted right to convene in
Executive Session as allowed by Texas Government Code, Section 551 for any of the
following purposes:
1. Consultation with attorney (§551.071)
2. Deliberation regarding real property (§551.072)
3. Deliberation regarding prospective gift (§551.073)
4. Personnel matters (§551.074)
5. Deliberation regarding security devices (§551.076)
6. Exclusion of witness from hearing (§551.084)
7. Meeting concerning municipally owned utility (§551.086)
8. Deliberation regarding economic development negotiation (§551.087)
9. Deliberation regarding test item (§551.088)
In accordance with Texas Government Code Section 551.127, please be advised that
members of the governing body may participate in a meeting via video conference call. A
quorum of the city governing body will be present at the posted physical location of the
meeting.
I, the undersigned authority, do hereby certify that the above notice of meeting of the City
Council of the City of Pleasanton, Texas, was posted on the bulletin board outside City Hall, a
place convenient and readily accessible to the public at all times. The notice was posted on
June 5, 2026 at 6:45 p.m. and remained so posted continuously for at least three business days
preceding the scheduled time of said meeting.
