Notice is hereby given that a Regular Meeting of the Lamar County Commissioners Court will be held on
the 12" day of January, 2026 at 9:00 a.m., in the Commissioners Courtroom located on the first floor of the
Lamar County Courthouse, 119 North Main Street, Paris, Texas, at which time there will be discussion
and/or action on the following subjects:

Persons desiring to address the Lamar County Commissioners Court must limit their presentation to no
more than five minutes. Unless an item is posted on the Agenda, the Texas Open Meetings Act prohibits

existing policy, or to a staff person with specific factual information. Claims against the Lamar County

executed revised service agreement with Optimum Enterprise, Lamar County’s Intemet Service

No. R2026-001, supporting legislation to exempt Texas counties from the state hotel occupancy tax. —

Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Lamar County and Red River Valley Amateur Radio

Discussion and/or action by Lamar County Commissioners Court to consider and approve the temporary
placement of Flock Safety LPR Camera on county owned right of ways, and authorize the Lamar
County Sheriff s Office to manage deployment and coordinate relocation upon TxDOT. — Scott Cass,

7. Discussion and/or action by Lamar County Commissioners Court to consider and approve authorization
for Lamar County to submit an application to purchase and receive federal surplus property through the
Federal Surplus Property Program and to authorize the County Judge to execute all necessary

8. Discussion and/or action by Lamar County Commissioners Court to consider and approve the final plat
for Little Town, in Precinct Two area of Lamar County, part of the Nathan N. Baker Survey #108, which
will sit on 5 acres, divided into 10 lots. No County Roads are involved. All parties agree that Private
Roads constructed in private subdivisions, are maintained by the Owner/Developer; or maintained by the

9. Discussion and/or action by Lamar County Commissioners Court receiving an update and status on
repairs, and needed repairs, in the courthouse and/or other county property. The item contemplates Lamar

10. Discussion and/or action to consider and approve the creation of a new employee handbook policy
allowing accrued sick leave to be paid out to employees upon separation or retirement, utilizing funds

for the fiscal year (2026) due to a typographical error on the previously approved schedule. - Brandon

budgeted for a local non-profit organization that is now ceasing operations. — Brandon Bell, Lamar County

13. Discussion and/or action by Lamar County Commissioners Court to receive into the minutes an executed
copy of the cash lease agreement between Lamar County and Will Ruthart, in the amount of $1500.00, for
the period of January |, 2026 through December 31, 2026. This lease grants Lamar County access to North
