Notice is hereby given as required by Title 5, Chapter 551.041 of the Government Code
that the Argyle Crime Control and Prevention District will meet for a Regular Meeting
May 5, 2026, at 6:30 PM at the Argyle Town Hall, 308 Denton Street, Argyle, Texas.
The Items listed below are placed on the agenda for discussion and/or action.

notice. Issues raised may be referred to Town Staff for research and possible
future action.

1. Funding Requests
a. In account 6223 (Computer/Equipment) a total of $10,000 is allocated for
the PD Funding Request line item. We are requesting the allocation of
$4,250 of these funds for the purchase of:

1. Installation of one additional Flock License Plate Reader (LPR)
camera on southbound Hwy 377 at Wildflower Place. This
location represents that only remaining ingress point for our Town
that is not covered by LPR monitoring. Attachment D.

Called to order at 6:31pm and a quorum was present. In attendance were Carla Wojtal,
Martin Brading, Calvin Bond, Sean Ford, Robert Hart, Jeff Brekke, Town Administrator
Mike Sims, Chief Emmitt Jackson and Lourdes Rodriguez.

Open forum opened at 6:32a. No citizens were present who wished to address the board and
open forum was closed at 6:33p.

a. Review and Accept the Argyle Crime Control & Prevention District —
January 12, 2026 minutes Attachment A
Motion to accept the January 12, 2026 minutes as presented made by Martin Brading and
seconded by Sean Ford. Motion passed unanimously, 6-0.

2. Financials

b. Discussion and Consideration of the CCPD financial report Attachment B.
Board members reviewed the current financial report and discussed the current fund balance
and projected year-end balance with expected expenditures. Motion to accept the financial

report as presented by Robert Hart and seconded by Carla Wojtal. Motion passed unanimously,
6-0.

E. BANQUET PLANNING
1. Discuss planning progress for the Police Appreciation Banquet scheduled for May 16,
2026

a. Discuss chosen venue for banquet
b. Discuss guest list and attendees
c. Discuss theme for event
d. Discuss current expenditures and outstanding items

- Carla Wojtal requested the assistance of other board members in securing donations.

- Lourdes Diaz gave an update on where banquet planning stands and what has been donated
thus far.

- Circle R Ranch was announced as the venue with a western theme
- Discussion closed at 6:50p

F. DISCUSSION ITEMS

1. Update on police facility and municipal complex project.
- Town Administrator Mike Sims discussed the Belmont Freshwater Supply District Agreement
and where it stands. Jeff Brekke wanted assurance that the agreement was being terminated
and Mr. Sims announced that the agreement would be ending on May 31, 2026.
- Town Administrator Sims gave an update on the master planning process and announced that
the Construction Manager At Risk (CMAR) process had been chosen by council to construct the
police building.

G. OLD BUSINESS - N/A

H. NEW BUSINESS

1. Discuss, Consider and Take Action on a FY26 budget amendment of $178,000 for
vehicle acquisition Attachments C, D, E and F

Chief Jackson provided a presentation on the current state of the police department vehicle

fleet and explained why several of the vehicles need replacement. Board members discussed

the mileage and maintenance costs associated with the vehicles. A motion to approve the

purchase of two vehicles was made by Jeff Brekke and seconded by Robert Hart. The motion

passed unanimously 6-0.

|. RECEIVE ITEMS FROM BOARD/STAFF TO BE PLACE ON FUTURE AGENDAS
- An update on future police staffing projections was requested by the board
- Carla Wojtal requested that an update on the progress toward building the police facility be
provided at each subsequent meeting
