VILLAGE OF ENON MINUTES

The Village of Enon Council Members held their Regular Meeting on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. Mayor Howard
called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm

e Solicitor Kavanagh responded to the Village’s inquiry whether it was possible to place a Question on the
Ballot. He answered that it is possible, so long as certain guidelines are followed

© Mrs. Sweet announced a Covenant Service and Installation of Pastor will be held at the West Enon Church
of God on Sunday, August 30, 2026 at 2:00pm; all are welcome

Staff Reports
Administrative

e The Board of Zoning Appeals heard two cases relating to 341 Green Vista Drive. Outstanding issues
remain and will be addressed at the next meeting

e The Records Commission will meet before the September 8, 2026 Council Meeting at 5:30pm

e Recommends holding the Shred Event again this fall

e Hydrant flushing will commence on September 8, 2026. A schedule is available

e The next blood drive will be held on August 27, 2026 from 12:30pm to 6:30pm

e The roof on the Enon Garage needs replaced. Three bids were received. After discussion the Council
requests the Administrator to procure a bid for a metal roof from Espinosa before making a decision

Police

e Chief Wise informed Council that an annual repair contract for the Department’s radios would cost
$3,500.00. Discussion ensued without a decision to proceed

e Mr. Davoli discussed his concerns with the Flock Cameras and the need for residents to have input on the
situation. He recommended a public forum or hearing on the matter. Discussion ensued with a consensus
that the Public Safety Committee will work to facilitate dialogue

e Vicky Forrest addressed Council and requested more timely posting of Council agendas and minutes
