2. Union Township EV Chargers Project (PID #122828) Design Build Award
Motion to approve the project scoring prepared by the Union Township Design-Build Project Scoring
Committee relative to the Union Township EV Chargers Project (PID #122828) Request for Proposals,
with the concurrence of the Township’s Criterion Engineer and the Ohio Department of Transportation,
selecting Donnellon McCarthy Enterprises as the highest ranked and most qualified responding firm,
offering the best value pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Section 153.693, inclusive, thereby awarding the
contract to construct the Union Township EV Chargers in the amount not to exceed the quoted price of
$947,540.00, authorizing the Township Administrator to negotiate and enter into a final design/build
construction contract based upon the parameters stated within the submitted proposal and pursuant to ORC
153.693, the Ohio Department of Transportation and/or the Federal Highway Administration, as applicable
and in accordance with terms associated with the OKI Carbon Reduction Grant program funding,
permitting modifications to the stated scope to comply with federal, state, and/or local engineering
requirements and to comply with applicable codes, and authorizing the execution of any and all documents
thereto in furtherance of the same, following the approval of a purchase order by the Board of Trustees.
3. Union Township Property Maintenance Code Discussion
Discussion about researching and potentially adopting a Property Maintenance Code (International Property
Maintenance Code) for commercial and multi-family developments within Union Township.
4. Continuation / Termination of Union Township Automatic License Plate Reader (ALPR) Program
Follow up discussion regarding the September 21, 2026 Town Hall Work Session Meeting held to discuss
the deployment and use of Automatic License Plate Reader technology within Union Township; including
potential motions or Board action to continue, modify, pause, or otherwise terminate the use of ALPR
technology within Union Township, Clermont County, Ohio, and authorizing related actions associated
therewith.
