The Street Renaming Ad Hoc Committee Chair Person will be present to
give the committee’s recommendation for renaming the honorary stretch of
South 8th Avenue between Martin Luther King Jr. Way and East Humbolt

5. PROPOSED CHANGES TO CITY CODE TITLE 5.04
GENERAL LICENSE REGULATIONS AND 5.56 TAXICABS
– POLICE DEPARTMENT
Pocatello Police Department staff will be in attendance to discuss
proposed updates to Pocatello City Code Title 5.04 General License
Regulations and 5.56 Taxicabs to modernize and streamline codes for
consistency as follows: (ACTION ITEM)
a) City Code 5.04 “General License Regulations” revisions; and
b) City Code 5.56 “Taxicabs” revisions; and
c) City Code 5.04 “School Crossing Guards” addition; and
d) City Code 5.04 “Traveling Carnival or Circus” addition; and
e) City Code 5.04 “Christmas Tree Sales” addition.

ZONING REGULATIONS—PLANNING AND

DISCUSSION—WATER POLLUTION CONTROL
Water Pollution Control staff will be in attendance to discuss the Johnny
Creek mainline project and receive Council feedback regarding possible
reduction or elimination of capacity fees for residents who connect to the
new sewer line. (ACTION ITEM)
