Update to FTA Public Transportation Agency Safety Plan (PTASP) for CATS. Consider request from CATS for approval of an update to the FTA Public Transportation Agency Safety Plan (PTASP).

 


11.2
Surplus Items for Fire & Emergency Services. Consider request from Fire & Emergency Services to surplus and dispose of several end-of-life computers.

 


11.3
EMS Annual Trauma Grant. Consider request from Fire & Emergency Services to authorize a Budget Amendment in the amount of $30,210.87 to accept annual State grant funds for EMS trauma related equipment.

Call for Public Hearing - Abandonment of a Portion of River Glen Drive. Consider request to call for a public hearing to be held on December 16, 2025, to receive comments regarding the abandonment of a portion of River Glen Drive.

Call for Public Hearing - Coma Properties, LLC (Case #07-08-031) - Modification of Zoning Conditions (BOC District 1). Consider request to call for a public hearing to be held on January 20, 2026, to consider a Board-initiated modification of Zoning Conditions per Case #07-08-031 (Coma Properties, Inc.) of 83.99 +/- acres of property. The purpose of the modification is to remove or revise zoning conditions per Case #07-08-031 to allow for the site to be developed.

COUNTY MANAGER

 

12.1
IGA to Conduct Municipal Elections. Consider Intergovernmental Agreements with the cities of Ball Ground, Canton, Holly Springs, Waleska and Woodstock to conduct municipal elections.

 






12.2
IGA with City of Nelson for Animal Control - Revised. Consider revised Municipal Services Agreement between Cherokee County and the City of Nelson for Animal Control and Impoundment Services.

 


12.3
Flock Camera Agreement for Sheriff's Office. Consider request from the Sheriff's Office for approval of a new consolidated agreement with Flock Group, Inc. for the continued use of Flock Safety camera services in the annua l amount of $317,500.00, with a total of $952,500.00 over the 3-year term of the agreement.

 


12.4
Bullet Traps, Target System and Ballistic Wall for the Sheriff's Office Range Project. Consider request from the Sheriff's Office for a Construction Agreement with InVeris for installation of two additional ballistic traps, a target system, and a combat wall for the Sheriff's Range Project, in the total amount of $875,000.00.

LifeSouth Agreement for Fire & Emergency Services. Consider request from Fire & Emergency Services to enter into an agreement with LifeSouth Community Blood Centers, Inc. to provide blood components for EMS for a five-year term.

Turnout Gear Purchase for Fire & Emergency Services. Consider request from Fire & Emergency Services for approval of year eight (8) pricing with Bennett Fire Products Company, Inc. for the purchase of Globe firefighting turnout gear in the amount of $3,570.91 per set for calendar year 2026, to be purchased on an as-needed basis.

Access Control Replacement for Animal Shelter. Consider request from Animal Shelter for an agreement with Telenet Systems for replacement of existing access control system for the intake building and the adoption building, in the total amount of $28,805.00.

 




12.8
Dugout Purchase for Sequoyah Park. Consider request from Recreation and Parks to purchase of four (4) dugouts, including installation, for Sequoyah Park, from Sportsfield Specialties, in the total amount of $99,998.05.

 




12.9
Digital Case Evidence Management System for District Attorney. Consider request from District Attorney's Office for a Master Relationship Agreement with AXON Enterprises, Inc., using Sourcewell contract # 101223-AXN, to provide software and support services for a Digital Case Evidence Management System, in the initial amount of $98,440.00 for FY2026; total contract value over its ten (10) year term totaling $ $1,601,099.20.

Holly Springs Parkway at Palm Street Intersection Project - Right-of-way Acquisition and Appraisal Services. Consider request from SPLOST/Roadway Department for approval of Task Order CD-4 under the on-call Professional Services Agreement with Atlas Technical Consultants, LLC, to perform Right-of-way Acquisition and Appraisal Services for the Holly Springs Parkway at Palm Street Intersection Improvement Project, in the amount of $61,000.00.

Rave Emergency Notification System for EMA. Consider request from Emergency Management Agency (EMA) to enter into a 5-year SaaS Subscription Agreement with Motorola for the Rave Emergency Notification System in the amount not to exceed $42,250.00 for year 1, and then $33,000.00 annually for years 2 thru 5.
