POLICE COMMISSION TRAFFIC SUB-COMMITTEE
July 21, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.

PRESENT:
Sue Tyler, Council Member/Police Commissioner
Paul Lemieux, Police Commissioner
Mark Morello, Police Chief
ABSENT:
Rory Ghio, Commissioner
1. CALL TO ORDER
Council Member Sue Tyler called the meeting to order at 5:03 p.m.
2. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
None
3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Commissioner Lemieux moved to APPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE APRIL 21, 2026 POLICE
COMMISSION TRAFFIC SUB-COMMITTEE, Seconded by Commissioner Tyler.
VOTE: UNANIMOUSLY PASSED
4. OLD BUSINESS
None
5. NEW BUSINESS
Chief Morello informed the Committee that Lt. Mussen is now the Lt. in the Traffic Division. The Traffic
Division currently has one Lt., one Sgt., and two officers. Once we have adequate staffing, Chief Morello
would like to increase the number in traffic by two, so we have a six-officer division.
A discussion was held regarding FLOCK cameras. It was suggested that bullet point information regarding
FLOCK cameras be posted on the Police Department’s website.
6. ADJOURNMENT
Commissioner Lemieux made a motion to ADJOURN, Seconded by Commissioner Tyler.
VOTE: UNANIMOUSLY PASSED
The Police Commission Traffic Sub-committee meeting for the 21st day of July 2026 was hereby adjourned.
