PROPOSED RESOLUTION
A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER THE ADOPTION OF A LOCAL LAW
AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE TOWN CODE ENTITLED “PORT
WASHINGTON PARKING DISTRICT”
WHEREAS, the Town Board, as the legislative body of the Town of North
Hempstead is empowered to amend the Town Code pursuant to the provisions of Article 9
of the New York State Constitution, the Town Law, and the Municipal Home Rule Law;
and
WHEREAS, a proposed Local Law has been prepared, pursuant to enabling
legislation, to amend Article IX of the Town Code entitled “Port Washington Parking
District” in order to limit parking in Area 8 of the District to commuters who utilize the
Long Island Rail Road prior to 7:45 a.m. Monday through Friday; and
WHEREAS, the proposed Local Law, in final form, has been on the desks or tables
of all the members of the Town Board for seven calendar days, exclusive of Sunday; and
WHEREAS, due notice was heretofore given of a public hearing to be held on
October 13, 2026, concerning the adoption of the proposed Local Law, which Local Law
was available for viewing by the public on the Town’s website and during regular business
hours in the Office of the Town Clerk; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the State Environmental Quality Review Act and
the Act’s implementing regulations (the “SEQRA Regulations”) the Department of
Planning and Environmental Protection has recommended that the adoption of the Local
Law be determined to be a Type II Action pursuant to Sections 617.5(c)(26) and (33) of
the SEQRA Regulations and, as such, no further environmental review is required; and

WHEREAS, the Town Board has carefully considered the proposed Local Law
during the seven-day period, conducted a public hearing on October 13, 2026, with respect
to the Local Law, and has afforded all interested persons an opportunity to be heard at the
public hearing; and
WHEREAS, this Board deems it in the public interest to adopt the proposed Local
Law, to be effective immediately upon filing with the Secretary of State of the State of
New York (the “Secretary of State”).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED that the Town Board determines that the adoption of the Local Law
is a Type II Action pursuant to Sections 617.5(c)(26) and (33) of the SEQRA Regulations
and, as such, no further environmental review is required; and be it further
RESOLVED that Local Law No. of 2026 be and it hereby is adopted, which Local
Law reads as follows:

A LOCAL LAW AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE TOWN CODE
ENTITLED “PORT WASHINGTON PARKING DISTRICT”
BE IT ENACTED by the Town Board of the Town of North Hempstead, as follows:
Section 1.
Legislative Intent.
The Board finds that it is in the best interest of the Town of North Hempstead to amend
Article IX of the Uniform Traffic Code of the Town Code entitled “Port Washington
Public Parking District” in order to limit parking in the District to commuters who utilize
the Long Island Railroad prior to 7:45 a.m.. Monday through Friday.
Section 2.
Article IX of the Uniform Traffic Code is hereby amended to read as follows:

§ 83 Off-street parking areas.
A.
For the relief of traffic congestion in the Port Washington Public Parking District,
certain areas acquired are hereby designated and dedicated as public places for the
parking of motor vehicles, and such other areas as may hereafter be included in
this section by amendment thereto shall constitute a parking meter area.
(1)
Area Number One. Lot Nos. 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 and 23 in Block 97, and lot
Nos. 215, 116 and 117 in Block 98, Section 5, School District No. 4, as
shown on the Nassau County Tax Map, commencing at a point
approximately 192 feet southerly from the southerly side of Main Street
on the westerly side of South Bayles Avenue and extending southerly

Regulation of area use. The following regulations shall apply to all off-street
parking areas:

(1)
All vehicles parked within an off-street parking area shall be parked
within a marked parking space only.
(2)
Spaces within each off-street parking area may be designated by the Board
of Commissioners, by resolution, as "Commuter Parking," "Shopper
Parking," "Taxi Stands," and "Merchant Parking."
(3)
Spaces may be designated by the Board of Commissioners as "Taxi
Stands" only after a recommendation for such designation has been made
by the Town Clerk. Such designation shall comply with the provisions of
Chapter 52, § 52-35, of the Town Code. No vehicles of any kind, other
than those licensed as taxicabs pursuant to Chapter 52 of the Town Code,
shall be permitted to park in designated taxi stands.
(4)
There shall be no parking in any of the off-street parking areas by any
vehicle between the hours of 3:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., except as provided
herein:
(a)
Vehicles licensed as taxicabs pursuant to Chapter 52 of the Town
Code and displaying the license medallion required by § 52-9A of
the Town Code may park during all hours in the areas designated
as taxi stands; and
(b)
From January 1, 2023, through December 31, 2023, residents who
have been issued a residential overnight parking permit may park
in Area Number Seven (Lot 7) from 7:00 p.m. through 7:00 a.m.
The fee for the issuance of a residential overnight parking permit
shall be set by resolution of the Board of Commissioners and shall
be nonrefundable.
(5)
If any vehicle shall remain parked in an off-street parking area, even
within the time allowed in this article, without having made the proper
parking meter payment for said parking space, such vehicle shall be
considered as parked overtime and beyond the time fixed by this article,
and the owner thereof shall be deemed guilty of a violation of this article
which shall be punishable as hereinafter set forth.
(6)
All vehicles parked within an off-street parking area which have been
marked or signed for head-in parking only shall be parked with the front
of the vehicle facing into the parking stall.
(7)
Spaces within each off-street parking area may be designated by the
District as parking for "Compact Cars Only." The spaces shall be grouped
together and visibly marked and/or posted with signs stating "Compact
Cars Only." For purposes of this article, a "compact car" shall mean any

vehicle which is less than 15 feet in overall length and six feet in width.
Such compact car parking spaces shall be a minimum of eight feet wide
and 17 feet long.
(8)
C.
Electric vehicle charging station parking spaces restricted. Spaces within
Area Number Four may be designated by the Board of Commissioners, by
resolution, as "electric vehicle parking and charging only." Each charging
station parking space shall be clearly identified with signage. These
parking spaces are reserved solely for electric vehicles while actively
charging. Electric vehicles that use the charging station shall pay any
applicable fee, as set forth by resolution, and shall vacate the parking
space within 30 minutes of completion of charging. All other vehicles that
are not electric vehicles or are not using the charging station shall be
prohibited from parking, standing or stopping in these spaces.
Commuter parking.

(1)
The use of all parking spaces designated as commuter parking spaces shall
be restricted to residents of the Port Washington Public Parking District,
[and shall be limited to Commuters as defined herein] except that such
restriction shall not apply on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, or after 3:00
p.m. on weekdays.
(2)
The use of all parking spaces designated as commuter parking spaces
in Area Number 8 shall be restricted to residents of the Port
Washington Public Parking District, and shall be limited to
Commuters as defined herein, Monday through Friday prior to 7:45
a.m., except that such restriction shall not apply on Saturdays,
Sundays, holidays, or after 3:00 p.m. on weekdays.
([2] 3) No vehicle may be parked in a commuter parking space while the use of
such space is restricted as set forth above, unless a district commuter
parking permit has been issued for such parking by the District and is
either affixed to the rear bumper on the operator's side of the vehicle or
can be verified using license plate recognition. The fee for the issuance of
a district commuter parking permit shall be set by resolution of the Board
of Commissioners and shall be nonrefundable.
([3] 4) The District shall require that each applicant for a district commuter
parking permit produce three of the following items as satisfactory
evidence that the applicant is a resident of the District:
(a)
Motor vehicle registration;
(b)
Motor vehicle leasing agreement;

(c)
Deed or lease showing ownership or rental of a residential property
within the District;
(d)
Tax bill; or
(e)
Such other documentation deemed acceptable.
([4] 5) Display and verification of parking voucher; fee.
(a)
Except as provided for in Subsection C(4)(b) below, the operator
of a vehicle desiring to park in a space designated for commuter
parking shall display a parking voucher by hanging it from the
vehicle's rearview mirror. The parking voucher must be displayed
so it is completely visible. No portion of the parking voucher shall
be covered or obscured in any manner.
(b)
License plate recognition shall be used to verify the issuance of a
virtual parking voucher. In such instances, the provisions of
Subsection C(4)(a) above shall not apply.
(c)
The fee for a parking voucher shall be set by resolution of the
Board of Commissioners and shall be nonrefundable.
([5] 6) A district commuter parking permit shall be used only by the registered
holder and may not be sold or transferred. No person shall permit or allow
a district commuter parking permit to be posted on, or transferred to, a
vehicle other than the vehicle for which the permit was issued without the
written consent of the District. Such permit shall be null and void without
such consent.
([6] 7) Notwithstanding any other provision of this article, the District may issue
an emergency personnel permit to a first responder or an emergency
medical professional as follows:

(a)
The District may designate no more than 12 off-street commuter
parking spaces for use solely by first responders or emergency
medical professionals with an emergency personnel permit. The
District may issue up to 12 emergency personnel permits. Permits
shall be issued on a first-come-first-served basis. Permits shall be
valid for one year from the date of issuance. The Town Board, by
resolution, may increase or decrease the number of spaces that may
be designated for use by permit holders and the number of permits
that may be outstanding at any given time.
(b)
Each applicant for an emergency personnel permit must otherwise
be eligible to apply for and receive a commuter permit and must
submit or provide, at the time of application for a permit and in

addition to those items required by § 83C(3) above, a notarized
statement from the first responder's or emergency medical
professional's employer indicating that the first responder or
emergency medical professional is regularly required to work
overnight, a twenty-four-hour shift or any work schedule that
would require the individual to be at his or her work site between
the hours of 12:00 midnight and 7:00 a.m.
(c)
The fee for an emergency personnel permit shall be the same as the
fee for a commuter permit. The operator of a vehicle desiring to
park in a space designated for parking with an emergency
personnel permit shall display a parking voucher by hanging it
from the vehicle's rearview mirror such that it is completely visible
and not covered or obscured in any manner. In the event that
license plate recognition is used to verify the issuance of a virtual
parking voucher, the provisions of the preceding sentence shall not
apply.
(d)
In the event that a first responder or emergency medical
professional has purchased a commuter permit from the District
and desires to obtain an emergency personnel permit, the first
responder or emergency medical professional may apply for an
emergency personnel permit by providing only the notarized
statement described in Subsection C(6)(b) above. An emergency
personnel permit obtained pursuant to this Subsection C(6)(d) shall
not require payment of the fee described in
Subsection C(6)(c) above and shall remain effective for the term of
the first responder's or emergency medical professional's commuter
permit.
(e)
Notwithstanding § 83B(4) of this article, holders of an emergency
personnel permit may park their vehicle in a space designated by
the District pursuant to Subsection C(6)(a) for a period of up to 72
consecutive hours.
(f)
An emergency personnel permit shall be used only by the
registered holder on the vehicle registered with the District and
may not be sold or transferred. No person shall allow a permit to
be posted on, or transferred to, a vehicle other than the vehicle for
which the permit was issued without the written consent of the
District. Permits transferred without the District's written consent
shall be null and void.
(g)
The District, acting through the Commissioner of the Department
of Public Safety, may promulgate rules and regulations for the
issuance of emergency personnel permits.

(h)
Revocation and suspension.

The holder of the permit has violated any of the
conditions, rules or regulations applicable to the
permit as contained in this article.
[b]
The holder of the permit has made a
misrepresentation or a false statement in his or her
application for a permit.
The procedures for the hearing and the revocation and
suspension of the permit shall be the same as those required
for the revocation of a merchant parking permit contained
in § 83E(9)(b) below.
Shopper parking.

The District may revoke or suspend an emergency
personnel permit upon finding, after a hearing, of one or
more of the following:
The use of all parking spaces designated as shopper parking shall be
regulated by a parking meter, the fee for which shall be set by resolution
of the Board of Commissioners and shall be nonrefundable. This fee shall
be in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, except
holidays.

The maximum period of time a vehicle may be parked in a space
designated for shopper parking shall be two hours, except that in Area
Number Six and Area Number 10, the maximum period of time a vehicle
may be parked in such a space shall be eight hours, and in Area Number
Five, the maximum period of time a vehicle may be parked in such a space
shall be five hours.

Merchant parking.
(1)
If the Board of Commissioners shall determine that there are parking
spaces available for such purpose, it may designate spaces in any of the
off-street parking areas other than in areas Number One and Three.
(2)
The use of all parking spaces designated for merchant parking shall be
restricted to commercial or retail property owners, their commercial or
retail tenants, and the employees of such owners or tenants.
(3)
No vehicle may be parked in a merchant parking space unless a district
merchant parking permit has been issued for such parking by the District

and is either affixed to the rear bumper on the operator's side of the
vehicle or can be verified using license plate recognition. The fee for the
issuance of a district merchant parking permit shall be set by resolution of
the Board of Commissioners and shall be nonrefundable.

(4)
District merchant parking permits shall be issued to owners or tenants
only. A district merchant parking permit to be used on a vehicle owned by
an employee shall be issued to the employer only. The employer shall, at
the time such application is made, sign an affidavit providing the name
and residential address of the employee and the make, model and plate
number of the employee's vehicle. The employer shall be required to
notify the District within 72 hours of the termination of employment.

A district merchant parking permit shall be used only by the registered
holder and may not be sold or transferred. No person shall permit or allow

Depending on the availability of parking spaces designated for merchant
parking, the District may limit the purchase of district merchant parking
permits to commercial or retail property owners, their commercial or retail

The District may revoke or suspend a district merchant parking
permit upon finding after a hearing of the existence of one or more
of the following:

The holder of the district merchant parking permit has
violated any of the conditions, rules or regulations
applicable to a district merchant parking permit holder
under this article.
[2]
The holder of the district merchant parking permit has
misrepresented or made a false statement in his/her
application.
The Town Attorney or his/her designee shall conduct the hearing.
Notice of any hearing to be held for the revocation or suspension
of a district merchant parking permit issued pursuant to this section
shall be mailed by ordinary mail to the holder of the permit, and
directed to the address of such holder as set forth in the
application. The notice shall be mailed not less than five days prior
to the hearing date, and shall advise the holder of such permit of
the time and place of the hearing and shall contain a concise
statement of the reason or reasons for holding the hearing. Rules of
law with respect to the admissibility of evidence in the conduct of
hearings shall not apply at such hearings, and the Town Attorney
or his/her designee shall make such a record of the findings as
he/she deems to be justified by all the evidence presented at such
hearing, and his/her findings shall be conclusive as to all matters of
fact.
Regulation of traffic in off-street parking areas Number One and Number Three.
(1)
All vehicles shall travel in a southerly direction on all north-south lanes
within the field, except that two-way traffic is permitted on (a) the
westerly lane between the prolongations of the southerly side of Bayview
Avenue and the northerly side of Franklin Avenue; and (b) the center aisle
of Area Number One (the South Bayles Avenue field).

All vehicles shall travel in an easterly direction on east-west lanes within
the field, except that they shall travel in a westerly direction when entering
the field from South Bayles Avenue or when exiting on Haven Avenue.

The openings on Main Street and on South Bayles at the northerly end of
the field shall be entrances only.
(4)
The opening on South Bayles Avenue at the southerly end of the field
shall be an exit only.
(5)
There shall be no parking, standing or stopping in other than designated
parking spaces at any time, except that passengers may be discharged in
the area in front of the depot herein designated as an unloading zone.

§ 89 Violations.
It shall be unlawful and a violation of the provisions of this article for any person:
A.
To cause, allow, permit or suffer any vehicle registered in the name of or operated
by such person to be parked overtime or beyond the period of legal parking time
established for any parking meter zone as herein described.
B.
To park any vehicle across any line or marking of parking meter space or in such
position that the vehicle shall not be entirely within the area designated by such
lines or markings or to park any vehicle in a parking meter space already occupied
in whole or in part by another vehicle.
C.
To deface, injure, tamper with, open or willfully break, destroy or impair the
usefulness of any parking meter installed under the provisions of this article.
D.
To deposit or cause to be deposited in any parking meter any slugs, device or metal
substance or other substitute for lawful coins.
E.
To park any vehicle by backing into a parking spot designated for head-in parking
only.

F.
To park a vehicle of any kind, other than a compact car, in a parking space
designated for "Compact Cars Only."

designated by the District as parking exclusively for "electric vehicle

more than 30 minutes following completion of charging. All other electric
vehicles that are not using the charging station in or at such space shall be
prohibited from parking, standing or stopping in these spaces.

This Local Law shall take effect immediately upon filing with the Secretary of State.

manner required by law, to file a copy of the Local Law with the Secretary of State, and to

HONORARY STREET NAME FOR ARMSTRONG ROAD, GARDEN CITY PARK, NEW

WHEREAS, Article II of Chapter 10 of the Code of the Town of North Hempstead
(the“Town Code”) establishes criteria for designating a secondary honorary name for an existing
street or portion of existing street; and
WHEREAS, Councilman Dennis Walsh (the “Petitioner”) has applied for a secondary
honorary street name for Armstrong Road at the intersection of Washington Avenue in Garden City
Park, as "Detective Charles Vroom Road" (the “Petition”); and
WHEREAS, the Town Highway Department (the “Highway Department”) has determined
that the Petition meets the basic criteria set forth in Section 10-4 of the Town Code; and
WHEREAS, following a review of the Petition by the Town Supervisor and the
Councilperson for the area where the street is located (the “Councilperson”), the Councilperson
recommended that a public hearing be scheduled to consider the Petition; and
WHEREAS, due notice has been heretofore given of a public hearing to be held on October
13, 2026 to consider the Petition; and
WHEREAS, a copy of the Petition was forwarded by the Town Clerk to the local fire
department, police department, and post office; and
WHEREAS, the Town Board has carefully considered the proposed Petition, conducted a
public hearing on October 13, 2026 at 10:00 AM in Town Hall with respect to the Petition, and has
afforded all interested persons an opportunity to be heard at the public hearing; and
WHEREAS, this Board deems it in the public interest to grant the Petition Armstrong Road

Section l. All motor or other vehicles of any kind shall comply with the following
regulations:
PROPOSAL:

NO STOPPING 9AM-12PM – 1ST & 3RD WEDNESDAY OF THE MONTH –
STREET SWEEPING
Section 2. All ordinances or regulations heretofore adopted in conflict with this ordinance are
hereby repealed.
Section 3. PENALTIES: “A violation of this ordinance shall be punishable by a fine, or when
applicable, by imprisonment, not in the excess of the amount set forth in the Vehicle and Traffic
Law of the State of New York, or by both such fine and imprisonment, plus any surcharge payable
to other governmental entities, and late payment, if applicable.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect ten days from the date of its publication and posting
pursuant to Section 133 of the Town Law of the State of New York.
Section 5. This ordinance shall be incorporated in the Uniform Traffic Code of the Town of North
Hempstead.

PROPOSED RESOLUTION
A RESOLUTION CERTIFYING COMPLETION OF REVIEW OF THE TENTATIVE
BUDGET AND SETTING A DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PRELIMINARY
BUDGET OF THE TOWN OF NORTH HEMPSTEAD, TOGETHER WITH THE
BUDGETS OF ALL SPECIAL DISTRICTS FOR THE YEAR 2027.
WHEREAS, the various departments and Special Improvement Districts of the Town of
North Hempstead (the “Town”) have submitted tentative estimates of their budgets (the “Tentative
Budget”) for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2027 and ending December 31, 2027 (“Fiscal
Year 2027") to the Supervisor of the Town of North Hempstead (the “Supervisor”); and
WHEREAS, on September 30, 2026, the Supervisor duly filed the Tentative Budget for
the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2027 with the Town Clerk of the Town of North Hempstead
(the “Clerk”); and
WHEREAS, the Clerk duly presented the Tentative Budget to the Town Board at a
meeting held on October 5, 2026; and
WHEREAS, the Tentative Budget has been considered and reviewed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED that the Town Board certifies that pursuant to Town Law §106, it has
completed review of the Tentative Budget of the Town for Fiscal Year 2027; and be it further
RESOLVED that the same, with any and all amendments approved by the Town Board,
shall be filed as the Preliminary Budget in the Office of the Town Clerk, who shall prepare
sufficient copies thereof as soon as possible for those members of the public who may wish to
acquire the Preliminary Budget; and be it further
RESOLVED that the Town Board shall hold a public hearing upon the Preliminary
Budget, including Town of North Hempstead and the Special Improvement Districts budgets on

the 28th day of October, at 7:00 P.M. to hear all interested persons concerning the Preliminary
Budget; and be it further
RESOLVED that the Town Clerk shall publish notice of the budget hearing in Newsday,
a newspaper published in the Town of North Hempstead and having a general circulation in this
Town; and be it further
RESOLVED that the notice shall be in the following form:

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PRELIMINARY BUDGET OF THE TOWN
OF NORTH HEMPSTEAD TOGETHER WITH THE BUDGETS FOR ALL SPECIAL
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICTS FOR THE YEAR 2027.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the preliminary budget of the Town of North
Hempstead, Nassau County, New York, together with the preliminary budgets of all Special
Improvement Districts (the “Preliminary Budgets”) for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2027,
have been completed and filed in the Office of the Town Clerk at Town Hall, Manhasset, New
York, where they are available during regular business hours for inspection by any interested
person; and
FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of North
Hempstead will meet and review the Preliminary Budgets, and hold a public hearing thereon in
the Town Board Room located at Town Hall, 220 Plandome Road, Manhasset, New York, at
7:00 P.M. on the 28th day of October 2026 and at such hearing any person may be heard in favor
of or against the Preliminary Budgets, or for or against any item therein contained; and

FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Town Law §108, that the
following are the proposed yearly salaries of the Elected Officers of this Town:
Supervisor – $133,000.00;
Town Clerk -- $115,000.00;
Councilmembers – $49,000.00;
Receiver of Taxes -- $115,000.00; and
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that copies of the Preliminary Budget are
available at Town Hall, 200 Plandome Road, Manhasset, New York, Monday through Friday,
between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 4:45 P.M.

PROPOSED RESOLUTION
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE
AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT SERVICES FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS.
WHEREAS, the Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications (the
“Department”) requires software maintenance and technical support for the Town’s Geographic
Information System software ArcGIS (the “Services”); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Purchasing has recommended that the Town renew its
purchase of the Services from Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc., 380 New York
Street, Redlands, California 92373 for a term commencing October 21, 2026 and ending October
20, 2027 in consideration of an amount not to exceed Eighteen Thousand One Four Hundred Two
and 06/100 Dollars ($18,402.06) (the “Purchase”); and
WHEREAS, this Board finds it to be in the best interest of the Town to authorize the
Purchase.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED that the Purchase be and is hereby authorized; and be it further
RESOLVED that the Town Supervisor or her designee be and hereby is authorized and
directed to execute any documents necessary to effectuate the Purchase; and be it further
RESOLVED that the Comptroller be and hereby is authorized and directed to pay the costs
of the Purchase upon receipt of certified claims therefore.

PROPOSED RESOLUTION
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH THE
LONG ISLAND NETS BY AND THROUGH THE BROOKLYN NETS, LLC TO USE THE
NORTH HEMPSTEAD “YES WE CAN” COMMUNITY CENTER AS THE OFFICIAL
PRACTICE FACILITY OF THE LONG ISLAND NETS.
WHEREAS, the Town has previously permitted the Long Island Nets, a National
Basketball Association Development League team associated with the Brooklyn Nets (the
“Licensee”) to use the North Hempstead “Yes We Can” Community Center (the “Community
Center”) as its official practice facility (the “Use”); and
WHEREAS, the Licensee continues to use the Community Center’s gym and locker room
for practices and to use other rooms at the Community Center for meetings, training staff and
storage; and
WHEREAS, the Town has negotiated an agreement with the Licensee to use the
Community Center for the Use commencing retroactively on September 1, 2026 and ending April
15, 2027 in consideration of payments to the Town based on Licensee’s actual hours of use of the
various areas at the Community Center at agreed upon hourly rates (the “License Agreement”);
and
WHEREAS, Town staff have recommended that the Town Board authorize the execution
of the License Agreement; and
WHEREAS, this Board finds it to be in the best interests of the Town to authorize the
execution of the License Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED that the License Agreement be and is hereby authorized; and be it further
RESOLVED that the Supervisor or her designee be and hereby is authorized and directed
to execute the License Agreement on behalf of the Town, which License Agreement shall be on

file with the Office of the Town Clerk, and to take such other action as may be necessary to
effectuate the foregoing; and be it further
RESOLVED that the Office of the Town Attorney be and hereby is authorized and
directed to complete the negotiation and oversee the execution of the License Agreement, and to
take such other action as may be necessary to effectuate the foregoing.
