OLD BUSINESS:

NEW BUSINESS:
1. Consider rescheduling the Thursday, May 7, 2026 work session in Ashville due to
the ACAA (Association of County Administrators of Alabama) conference. The

work session will be rescheduled to Tuesday, May 12th at 9am in Ashville. The
commission meeting will follow the 9am work session.
2. Consider approval of a proposal from Privatizer Technologies LLC to repair or
replace the commission office check printer in the amount of $919.
3. Consider adopting Resolution 2026-22 recognizing April 2026 as Fair Housing
month.
4. Consider the request from Probate Judge Andrew Weathington to renew the
municipal voting contracts for three years, pending review by the County Attorney.
5. Consider the request of IT Manager Glenn Morgan to renew the Thinkgard
contract for three years in the amount of $49,021.68 per year. This provides a
service to back-up the commission office server.
6. Consider the request from Sheriff Billy Murray to approve a contract with Clearview in
the pro-rated amount of $7,000 (April-Sept. 30, 2026), pending the County Attorney’s
review. Facial recognition tools that allow for the potential identification of suspects
within surveillance images and videos. The differentiator of Clearview vs. Biometrica is
in Clearview’s ability to compare images beyond those of jail booking photos via social
media, news images, etc.
7. Consider the request from Sheriff Billy Murray to create a Temporary Captain
Training Coordinator position at a grade 30, step 0, due to the retirement of the
current Operations Administrator on December 31, 2026. This will allow time for
training a replacement. After the retirement of the current Administrator, the
trainee will be promoted into the Captain of the Operations Center position at a
grade 30 & the Temporary Captain Training Coordinator position will be removed
from payroll records. This will require a budget amendment.
8. Consider the request from Sheriff Billy Murray to add & hire one deputy sheriff
position at a grade 25, step 0. This will require a budget amendment.
9. Consider the request from Sheriff Billy Murray to add & hire two
telecommunicator positions to train for future changes. This will require a budget
amendment.
10.Consider the request from Jail Administrator Phillip Barnard to approve a contract with
KeyTrak in the amount of $3,959.80/yearly. The KeyTrak system stores keys, tracks the
checkout of keys, maintains an audit system for security, and is a full key control
infrastructure system for the jail. This will require a budget amendment.

11.Consider the request from Sheriff Billy Murray to enter into a food procurement
agreement with Summit foods, pending review by the County Attorney.
12.Consider the request from the City of Argo for a grant match in the amount of
$37,250 for a generator to power their municipal complex in case of an emergency
outage. This will require a budget amendment.
13.Consider the request from Partners by Design for a proposal for an ad campaign in
the amount of $6,000 (May 2026-Sept. 2026) in the Discover St. Clair & Lake Life
magazine to promote county assets. This will require a budget amendment.
14.Consider the request from Roddy Wolfe Property Manager to surplus & dispose of a
broken Dyson vacuum Inv. #11843.
15.Consider approval of travel requests.
16.Consider board appointments.
