Flock and its police partners love to talk about audit logs and internal policies as if that's a real safeguard. But an audit log only catches misuse after it's already happened, and only if anyone bothers to check. Savannah is a case where the system apparently worked in the sense that someone got caught — but how many departments running Flock cameras right now have zero oversight, no independent audits, and no reporters or watchdogs asking questions? This isn't a one-off bad-apple story, it's a preview of what mass ALPR deployment guarantees at scale.
