"D" Flocked...😂 #Gayrette @BennJordan@TuckerCarlson #TShirtDouchebag #DeFlock #FlockBlocker
The short version: Creator Eye Luk drops a meme-y jab at Flock Safety culture-war branding, and even the joke underscores how normalized ALPR surveillance has become.
Our Take
Eye Luk's clip is more meme than manifesto, riffing on the increasingly online, increasingly tribal discourse around Flock Safety cameras, name-dropping Benn Jordan and Tucker Carlson along the way. We're not going to pretend to unpack every joke in a title that reads like a group chat in-joke, but the fact that "DeFlock" and "FlockBlocker" are now meme fodder says something: this fight has left the policy-wonk bubble and is bleeding into mainstream internet culture.
That's a good thing, honestly. Mass ALPR surveillance thrives on being boring and invisible — a camera bolted to a pole that nobody questions. When it becomes a punchline, a t-shirt gag, a culture-war flashpoint people argue about on YouTube, it also becomes something people notice, Google, and eventually push back on. Humor is a gateway to scrutiny.
If the jokes got you curious about what's actually watching your plates, skip the discourse and go look for yourself on our camera map, then check take-action for ways to push your city council on transparency and retention policy before the next viral clip does the explaining for you.
