The short version: A short clip from creator 2face taps into anti-surveillance anger with #deflock and #freethepeople tags, signaling grassroots pushback against ALPR networks.

Our Take

We don't have much to go on here — 2face's post is more mood than manifesto, a quick hit of #nullsec and #anonymous energy stamped with #deflock. But that's exactly the point. You don't need a white paper to feel that something's off when a private company's cameras are logging your car's movements block by block, city by city, with almost no public vote on whether that should happen.

Videos like this matter less for their content and more as a signal: ordinary people are noticing Flock Safety hardware in their neighborhoods and connecting it to a bigger pattern of mass surveillance creeping into daily life under the banner of "public safety." That instinct — suspicion of unaccountable camera networks — is the same instinct that built this site.

If you want more than a vibe, go see it for yourself. Check our map to find out how many ALPRs are already watching your route to work, and if you're ready to push back with more than a hashtag, our take-action page has concrete steps for your city council meeting, not just your comment section.
