DESTROYING FLOCK CAMERAS: #illuminati #righttoprivacy #MassSurveillance #DeFlock #surveillancestate

Angel Dust · 3 months ago

The short version: A creator called Angel Dust vents raw frustration at Flock cameras by smashing them on camera, underscoring how little legal recourse communities feel they have.

Our Take

Angel Dust's video is less a how-to than a pressure gauge. When people start taking hammers to ALPR cameras instead of writing city council emails, it's a sign the normal channels for consent and oversight have failed. Flock Safety didn't win over these neighborhoods with transparency — it won by quietly wiring up intersections while most residents never got a vote.

We don't cover or endorse property destruction here. It's illegal, it gets people hurt or charged, and it gives Flock and its police partners a convenient 'vandalism' narrative that distracts from the real story: a private company building a de facto national vehicle-tracking network with minimal public input. Smashing one camera doesn't touch the database behind it.

If you're angry about a camera on your street, there are sharper tools than a crowbar. Check our camera map to document exactly what's watching your block, and use our take-action guide to push for public hearings, data-retention limits, and outright bans. That's how you actually take a camera network apart — piece by piece, legally, and in a way that sticks.
