Credit to WOWK 13 News for covering the Huntington Community Action Group's petition push — local TV stations don't always bother with ALPR stories, and this one matters. Flock's pitch to city councils is always the same: it's just for solving crimes, nothing to worry about. What that pitch leaves out is that every plate scanned becomes a permanent record of where you drove, whether or not you did anything wrong, sitting in a database that's one data breach, one subpoena, or one policy change away from being used against you.

What's notable here isn't just the target — it's the tactic. A city-level petition is a real lever.
