Montavue, a budget security-camera brand, is marketing a consumer-grade ANPR camera with vehicle make/color/type recognition, human detection, sirens, and two-way audio — the same feature set that used to require a police contract or a homeowners association budget line. The video (credit to Montavue Security for the straightforward infographic pitch) doesn't dwell on privacy implications because that's not the point of a sales reel.
