IMAGERY POULTRY LOG – 27 Sep 2026 | Rising Rain Water & Flock Safety @GameSilkies
The short version: This video from @Fazenda.Mondego is a literal chicken-farming log about rainwater and flock stress—nothing to do with Flock Safety's surveillance cameras.
Our Take
We'll admit the title had us doing a double-take: "Rising Rain Water & Flock Safety." But after watching José Flor's daily log, it's clear this is an actual poultry farming channel tracking weather conditions and literal chicken flocks on a small operation — not the Atlanta-based surveillance company whose license-plate-reading cameras we spend our days cataloging.
It's a harmless coincidence of naming, and credit to the creator for the kind of unglamorous, consistent documentation that real homesteading requires. But it's a good reminder of how language gets co-opted: a company chose a warm, pastoral word like "Flock" to brand a network of AI cameras that scan your plate, log your location, and feed that data to police departments and private databases across the country. The actual flocks being watched here are chickens worried about rain. The flocks Flock Safety watches are you, driving to work, church, or a protest.
If you want to see where that other kind of flock-watching is happening near you, check our camera map, and if you're ready to push back on your city council or state legislature, our take-action page has the tools to get started.
