ISRAELLI Chip in new Iphone
The short version: A conspiracy-leaning channel claims an 'Israeli chip' lurks in new iPhones, but the real, documented surveillance threat is the ALPR network already blanketing American streets.
Our Take
This video, from a channel that broadly covers digital ID and mass surveillance, makes a claim about hardware origin in new iPhones that we can't verify and won't repeat as fact. We're not in the business of amplifying unsubstantiated chip conspiracies, especially ones that lean on ethnicity-based framing rather than evidence. Credit to the creator for consistently banging the drum on surveillance anxiety — that instinct is correct even when a specific claim is shaky.
Here's what we can document without speculation: thousands of Flock Safety automated license plate readers are already bolted to poles in American neighborhoods, logging every passing vehicle, time-stamped and searchable, often shared across hundreds of police agencies with little public oversight. You don't need a hidden chip in your phone when your car is being photographed and tracked block by block, data pooled into a system most residents never voted on and can't opt out of.
If you want to know what's actually watching you drive to work, pick up your kids, or go to a protest, skip the phone-chip rabbit hole and check our camera map to see what's logging your plate right now. Then head to take action to push back on the surveillance that's verifiably already in place.
