Credit to the Zach & Zaylie Show for putting a spotlight on something a lot of Massachusetts residents are just now noticing: Flock Safety cameras aren't popping up one town at a time anymore, they're blanketing entire regions. When a single vendor's ALPR network can track your movements across town lines without you ever knowing which police department, HOA, or private security outfit is actually pulling the data, 'coverage' starts to look a lot more like a dragnet than a safety tool.
The legal argument that you have 'no expectation of privacy' on public roads is doing a lot of heavy lifting for an industry that wants to scan every plate, every day, forever. That standard was built for a cop glancing at your car as you drive by, not for a corporate database stitching together your entire driving history across dozens of municipalities. The video's title says it plainly: this is starting to feel territorial, and territorial surveillance infrastructure built by a private company with little public oversight is exactly the kind of creep we track.
