Why We Should LOVE Flock Cameras! ❤️ (You’ll Be Glad You Clicked!)

Turtle Time VO’s · 3 weeks ago

The short version: A satirical title from Turtle Time VO's masks a real point: most people have no idea how often Flock cameras are logging their plates.

Our Take

The title is obviously tongue-in-cheek, and that's exactly the point. Turtle Time VO's is using sarcasm to get people to click on a topic most Americans have never thought twice about: a growing network of automated cameras photographing their license plates, timestamps, and location every time they drive. Nobody actually "loves" being tracked by a private company's camera grid — the humor is doing the work of getting eyeballs on a surveillance system that thrives on being ignored.

The video points viewers to haveibeenflocked.com, a tool that lets people check whether their plate has shown up in Flock's network. That kind of transparency tool matters because Flock doesn't exactly advertise where its cameras are or how much data they're quietly compiling on ordinary drivers who've never been suspected of a crime. Knowing you've been "flocked" is step one — the next step is figuring out which cameras near you are doing the flocking.

We built our camera map for exactly that reason: so you can see what's watching your street, not just whether your plate got caught once. If this video got you curious, don't stop at curiosity — check the map and see what you can do about the cameras in your own backyard.
