Alex Karp showing his arse over American Women voters what a twat

Digital ID, Mass Surveillance and Digital Currency · 4 months ago

The short version: A YouTube critic blasts Palantir CEO Alex Karp's dismissive remarks about American women voters, spotlighting the arrogance of surveillance-industry executives.

Our Take

The channel Digital ID, Mass Surveillance and Digital Currency has put out a clip calling out Palantir CEO Alex Karp for comments about American women voters that come across as condescending at best. We haven't independently verified every word attributed to Karp, but the broader point lands: the people building the data infrastructure that increasingly shapes policing, immigration enforcement, and government decision-making rarely face the voters whose lives they're sorting through algorithms.

That's the real issue here. Palantir, like Flock Safety, operates largely outside the public's direct line of sight, selling tools to police departments and federal agencies while the executives behind them face little accountability to the communities those tools affect. When a CEO running software that touches millions of Americans' data seems to hold the electorate in open contempt, it's worth asking who these systems are actually built to serve.

This is exactly why local oversight matters so much — city councils and county boards are often the only checkpoint before a surveillance contract gets signed. Check our camera map to see what's already been deployed near you, and visit our take-action page if you want to push back before the next contract goes through.
