Cyberpunk2077 deflock the world Male Street Kid V Edgerunners 2 hype MOdded Part 9

Arasaka Racing Development · 2 months ago

The short version: A Cyberpunk 2077 modded gameplay video borrows "DeFlock" phrasing for its title but has nothing to do with real-world ALPR surveillance.

Our Take

Arasaka Racing Development's latest upload is a modded Cyberpunk 2077 playthrough — Edgerunners hype, a custom Street Kid V build, Night City chaos. It's gaming content, full stop. The "deflock the world" line in the title appears to be a playful nod or coincidental phrasing, not a reference to Flock Safety's automated license plate reader network or the real-world movement pushing back against it.

We mention it here only because our name and the broader "deflock" language are increasingly showing up in unrelated corners of the internet, which tells you something: the vocabulary of resisting mass surveillance is bleeding into pop culture, even when the content itself has nothing to do with it. That's not a bad thing — awareness spreads in weird ways — but it's worth being clear-eyed about what's actual reporting on ALPR overreach versus what's a cyberpunk fan video borrowing a catchy phrase.

If you came here expecting commentary on real camera networks, you're in the right place for that too. Check our camera map to see what's actually tracking plates in your neighborhood, and if you want to do something about it, our take-action page has concrete steps.
