TYT Investigates caught New Bedford officials trying to muscle through a Flock Safety rollout without the kind of public buy-in they clearly assumed they'd get, and the room said otherwise, loudly.
This is the pattern we keep seeing everywhere Flock tries to expand: city staff and police brass treat these deals as procurement paperwork, not surveillance policy, until residents show up and remind them that a network of always-on cameras logging every car's movements is a civil liberties question, not a line item.
