DeFlock Webpage/app
The short version: A creator spotlights the DeFlock map/app itself, showing how everyday people can track and document ALPR cameras popping up in their communities.
Our Take
Shoutout to DN37R34P3R for taking a few minutes to walk through the DeFlock tool itself. Videos like this matter because most people have no idea Flock Safety cameras exist until someone shows them where to look. A screen-recorded tour does more to demystify crowdsourced surveillance mapping than a thousand press releases ever could.
This is really the whole point of the project: it's not a corporate dashboard or a government database, it's regular people logging what they see on their own streets. Every camera pin added is one more data point that helps your neighbors understand how dense this network has actually gotten, often without a single public vote or hearing.
If this video got you curious, go check the map for your own area, and if you find a camera that isn't logged yet, add it. Then head to take action to find out how to push back on unchecked ALPR deployment where you live.
