Their "Flock Walk," filmed as part of a national week of action, does something simple but effective: it walks a camera-curious public through why ALPRs deserve scrutiny, then points them to actual hardware sitting on actual street corners in their own city.
This is exactly the kind of local organizing that moves the ALPR fight beyond city council agendas and press releases. When neighbors physically locate the cameras tracking their comings and goings, the surveillance stops being theoretical. It becomes a lamppost they pass every day, a private company's asset sitting on public infrastructure, license plate data flowing into a database most residents never voted to create.
