But here's the gap this kind of video rarely addresses: you can lock down your texts and your doorbell footage, and it does nothing about the ALPR camera bolted to a pole at the end of your street. Flock Safety and similar networks don't care what messaging app you use — they log your plate, your location, and your travel patterns every time you drive past, and that data gets stored, shared, and sometimes handed to agencies with zero warrant. Personal encryption protects your conversations; it doesn't protect your movements.
