Supt. Dirk Lammes
Pledge to the Flag
Meeting called to order at 5:32 p.m.
Supervisor Rightmyer:
•
Short term disability insurance will take affect beginning August 14th; this does not
include elected officials.
•
Obtained a quote for $10,900 (includes sales tax) from Rochester Door Company for
work on 5 panic bar doors; to replacing two doors and repairing three.
•
Due to scheduling conflict, all agree to change the next meeting date to August 24th. The
October work meeting will also have to be changed.
•
Spoke with insurance agent Rachel Hicks, liability insurance is renewed. Due to new
court security guidelines, there may be an added expense.
Dirk Lammes:
•
Needs Zenner license agreement signed for $4465.65/year for maintenance and support.
Will begin with water districts #6 and #10 since we need to work our way out with the new
meters and these districts are closest to the building. If we happen to be under budget with the
parking lot, would like to use some of the remaining funds to purchase more water meters.
The license agreement has incorrect dates and needs to be changed. Supervisor Rightmyer asked
Dirk to call and tell them to fix the dates and that we will do a resolution at the next meeting on
August 24th.
Supervisor Rightmyer: In regards to the cemetery behind 3435 Hulberton Road, it was never
registered with NYS Division of Cemeteries, but feels it should still be maintained a couple
times during the year. There is no grass to mow, but clean up brush and tree branches.
Superintendent Lammes would like a resolution to use funds from the cemetery fund for
maintenance. Supervisor Rightmyer will ask Attorney Sansone to draw up a resolution.
Entered into Executive Session at 5:53 p.m. to discuss potential litigation
Returned from Executive Session at 6:20 p.m., no action taken.
Elaine Berg brought up that the Orleans County Sheriff’s department put up one Flock Camera
in the Town of Murray and one in the Village of Holley. They did not need approval from the
Board since it was put in the right-of-way on a state road. It reads license plates and vehicle
information. There is a potential for security issues.

Supervisor Rightmyer had spoken with the Sheriff’s Department and they feel the Flock cameras
do more good than harm.
Scott Lang discussed an issue with vehicles, garbage, etc. on the property just northeast of the
canal on Hulberton Road. It has spread to the canal property and is a problem. He will put in a
call to the NYS Canal Corp. and speak with Code Enforcement.
Dirk Lammes: In regards to the water meter on Route 31 that froze and was leaking steadily for
months, asked about how to handle the billing. The Board feels it is the homeowner’s
responsibility as they should maintain and monitor their vacant property.
