Contract Canceled  August 2026

Marietta City Council voted Aug. 21, 2026 to cancel its Flock contract after residents packed a meeting called to decide whether five temporary cameras would stay. KXII reported Police Chief Brett Harris initially asked council to keep them, then said he learned during the meeting that Flock retains data after the city’s 30-day access ends. Feeds were to shut off immediately, with physical removal to follow.
