WMTV reported September 10, 2026 that the Jefferson County, Wisconsin, Sheriff's Office is suspending its Flock cameras. Sheriff Travis Maze said the office learned its data was released without permission, including 2025 investigations, after Flock had said data would not be released without the county's permission. The office said it has no evidence of staff wrongdoing. Wisconsin Jefferson County, not another state's Jefferson.
