Contract Canceled July 2026
Clearwater County, Idaho, Sheriff’s Office announced July 23, 2026 it would not renew Flock after nine months, with the deal set to expire Sept. 22. Flock later said the two-year contract could not be cancelled. County Prosecutor E. Clayne Tyler then opined the second installment is void and unenforceable under Idaho law and that a sheriff cannot bind the county to that debt.
